P90X2? What are your thoughts?

I'm a big fan of P90X, have done two rounds plus a P90X/Insanity hybrid. It gives me great results. But the workouts are getting a little repetative, plus a few of my DVDs are quite scratched and skip often.
I have been wondering about P90X2 for a while now. Some product reviews say they love it, others say its not worth the buy. To anyone out there who has done P90X2, what are your thoughts? I'd love some advice before I buy.

Do a barbell based strength program for six months and see how much more effective it is. Use P90 (if you have to) for cardio on your off days.0

Thanks for the suggestion! I know barbells work amazingly, that's pretty much all I did the last four years. (I played field hockey at my university and our strength coach solely used barbell work) I know I'll get back to those workouts someday, guess I'm just looking for a bit of variety. Thank you for the help!0
