Mmm...sodium chloride.

Is MFP's designation of 2,500g sodium/day a reasonable, healthy goal?

It depends on your age and if you have any health conditions. There are several websites that suggest 2500 mg is fine if you are under 50 and don't have high blood pressure. If you are over 50, they recommend 1500 mg.

Noted (I'm 29 and in relatively good health other than wanting to shed a few pounds); thanks. :)
