Ok everyone. I know i am not the only one who does this, but I work my *kitten* off all week, working out twice a day with P-90-X in the morning, and MMA training in the afternoon (Mostly Jiu-Jitsu)..and have been for going on my 3rd week.

My problem is the weekends. Man at the end of the week all I want to do is crack a beer (or 4), eat some Famous Daves and chill. Once I do that, it is all down hill. What are some tips and motivation techniquest that get everyone through the weekend?

Here is my deal. My wife and I always have good week days. She runs and I do my training, we eat sensibly (most nights) but on the weekends, we just want to cut loose. I love Beer, whe loves Wine, and we love going out to eat. Now our budget has tightened on the going out and stuff so hopefully that will help, but I would like to hear what people recommend.

We are the same way. Awesome at the gym and our diets through the week and come friday...look out. The only thing that has helped us is the tightening of the budget. :blushing: We have tried to limit ourselves to going out one day a weekend (Sunday for football).

In addition. we just started going to the gym together on Friday's so by the time we get home it's close to 9:30 p.m. We have a couple drinks while I make dinner and by the time we are finished showering and eating we are too damn tired to go crazy. Then on Saturdays we run our "collective" errands so that we are out of the house and not BORED. I guess our theory is to start later so that there is less time to ruin all the hard work.

It isn't the best advice, but it has been working for us. We are the essential weekend warriors. I'm sure this post will rub some people that wrong way asking "Why don't you just not drink?!" but it is a personal opinion and it is what it is. I don't think that I would be as happy as I am in a life without good wine and amazing cheese, and I adjust acordingly. Good luck and let me know if you come up with any other good ideas.
