HELP!!! I'm now working midnight and really struggling with my eating i never get breakfast and seem to be eating dinner twice, and i seem to eat more while i'm on this shift. How do you night owls work and keep a normal meal plan?

I used to work a 9pm to 9am shift. What worked for me was having the family dinner as my breakfast, and then packing something for lunch. Stay away from the vending machines. They are evil.

One thing I liked about that shift was getting out for a walk around the buildings during my breaks. Great opportunity for some star gazing.

well the walking around the building isn't going to happen as we are out in the middle of now where and no lights. with my luck i will trip over something and hurt myself lol. but thanks for the tip. i have been eating my family dinner as breakfast i just find during the night i get tired and thats when i get hungry even a full 8 hours of sleep doesn't seem to help that.

I've been working 11pm-7am for the past 3½ years. I drink tons of water, eat slowly when I can. I don't worry about eating small meals 4-6x a day. I average 2 meals a day. Once at work and at home. I concern myself more with hitting my calories and macros. I don't concern myself with labels. If I want dinner type food at 2AM, then that's what I'll have. I make sleep a priortiy. I tried the broken up sleep. 3-4 hrs, do stuff, then sleep another 3-4 hours. It doesn't work for me. I sleep straight 6-8 hrs. When I didn't sleep well, I was obviously tired and snack on things to help keep my awake. Which of course ended with me going over my calorie allowance. I get in walk breaks while at work when I can. 20-30 mins. I also hit the gym after work at 8am 4-5x a week.
