I had a question about sweeteners. I know they're all bad but I heard this brand is much better and is actually good you you. It was on a few news progams a bit back. Was just wondering how other people found it?

Here's the site.
I don't know whether it would put weight/fat back on me though. I want to slim down especially in my stomach area will this help or do you think im better off with real sugar??? Heeeelp

I don't know that they are all bad... I use stevia. I haven't heard anything negative about it. But I have never heard about the one you are talking about. Maybe it's not available around me?0

I think it's maybe only available in Australia... not sure.
I've never heard of stevia although it did come up when I was researching just then about sweetners and all the sites said that one was the best. Maybe I should give that one a go. Does it still taste alright?0 -

After looking at the site... This sweetener is stevia extract. I love stevia and I don't think that it is bad!
Having said that, from what I understand, using ANY sweetener increases the likelihood that you will crave sweets.0 -
Well that's embarrassing for me lol.
Thanks a lot for your help.
I don't mind if I crave sweets as long as I don't gain weight from it just because its a sweetener.
Thanks again0 -
It appears to be the same thing as TRUVIA... which is what I use. I like it...0

I have stevia, it leaves a horrible taste in your mouth. And a coating on my tongue.
Might be different for you though.0 -
I have been using this for a few months now and love it. I use a little on my cereal and in my coffee. Cannot tell its not really sugar. I can't stand equal and the likes and was sceptical on this, but its good! As for sweet cravings, nothing out of the ordinary.0

Looks like it is a blend of Stevia and Erythritol. I use Stevia all the time and from what I understand it's all natural and not like other sweeteners (artificial). Erythritol is a sugar alcohol and often used in Sugar Free foods. Erythritol can have some impact on your digestive system if eaten in larger quantities, but as long as you are only using small amounts for things like coffee or cereal it should be fine.
For those having tried stevia and don't like, you might try other brands. I have found they are not all the same, some taste better than others. I have to use more of some brands to get the same level of sweetness, so experiment to see if there is one you might like.0
