Well last year and the beginning of this year I was an avid exerciser. My body was almost to where I wanted it to be when, thanks to my work, BANG back injury struck and I have not been allowed to the gym in 5 months due to a 19 mm x 8.5 mm x 18.8 mm extruding disc between my L5 S1. Well I have been cleared to a very strict routine to go back. I attempted the elliptical for 10 minutes the other day but that was apparently to much but my lat pulldowns, bench press via the machine, arm peddling and tricep push downs felt great. Lets hope I can keep this up. Feels good to be back. Now if I could only figure out a magical way to control my food intake and control my will power I would be right on track :)

Anybody else have this injury and climbed back from it? I could really use some encouraging words right now.

Spoke with the doctor today and they confirmed I have a 19mm herniated disc. Anybody recovering from such an injury?
