dvd paper containers

So this is probably a crazy question but I ordered these new dvd workouts - body revolution. They came in a paperboard type container with 5 in each one. I am worried they are going to get scratched and not work. Would you go out and buy plastic dvd holders for them? Has anyone had an issue with this type of thing? I also have p90x and I do not like the container they came in either. They seem to make small scratches everytime you remove or put them them back.
