A big, steaming bowl of Asian food (under 150cal!)

Sometimes you are in the mood for a big, steaming bowl of Asian food. But it can be costly (cheaper than a restaurant, but still multiple dollars), and Chinese takeout can have SO MANY calories. Here is my lazy evening, low cal, low cost alternative.

I hesitate to call this a real recipe since it doesn't require that much cooking. Broccoli is often on sale, so I find myself stocking up pretty frequently. If fresh broccoli is expensive where you live, feel free to use frozen broccoli florets.

Ingredients:
2.5 cups of washed brocoli, cut into bite size pieces (takes about a minute if you have kitchen scissors)
1 or 2 tablespoons of Soy Vay Veri Veri Teriyaki, or the Trader Joe's equivalent

Materials:
A method of steaming broccoli (I use a pan + steaming tray + lid)

Steps:
1. Steam broccoli until it seems done (I unload the dishwasher and tidy the kitchen while waiting, when the kitchen is done, so is the food)
2. Place in bowl
3. Add teriyaki sauce
4. Stir it around so it gets evenly distributed
5. Chow down on a GIANT mound of food for under 150 calories!

If you want some protein, grill up a small chicken breast, chop it up, and mix it in.

Bonus: It's kosher!
