sugar withdrawal, that is.
Seriously enjoyed indulging on my every whim last night! Couldn't figure out why I was getting all shaky this morning.
As a test, I ate a packet of fuzzy peaches and lo and behold, symptoms lessoned. Could it just be a coincidence? Or could be that my body's not used to processed foods anymore and is freaking out?

Sugar does not have withdrawls0

It could have been hypoglycemia. If you really overdid the candy last night you could have had a big insulin release in order to lower the blood sugar. You may have had extremely low blood sugar when you woke up as a result, leading to the shakiness. Eating the peaches increased your blood sugar and relieved the symptoms.0
