Knees hurt!

Hi! When Im walking up the stairs my knees start hurting a littlebit. I am very new to the whole exercising, so I dont know.. Is this a bad sign? I am doing the 30 day shred, and the butt bible, so theres alot of squats (plie regular) and lunges. I try my best to make sure I do them right, and keep the knees behind the toes!

Should I be worried? Or is this normal??

    I would say take it easy if your knees are hurting. Maybe don't go as deep, you need to work up to deep squats and lunges. Always be mindful of the knees!! I have bad knees from playing soccer for years and once they are bad its painful. I take glucosamine with MSM. It helps rebuild and stop the loss of cartilage. I take it daily and when i forget i can feel it especially now that it's getting colder.

    Take a day or so off, if it still hurts or gets worse see a doctor. You may have tweaked it or put to much strain on a ligament. Try some anti-inflammatory it might help the irritation/ swelling. But if it gets worse or just doesn't get better over time see a doctor. Knees aren't something to mess around with.
