No weight loss this week. .4lb jump

So bummed! I have not lost any weight this week. In fact I'm up a bit. I've been logging in everything and while I have had some sweets this week, I've burned way more calories than normal. I did a 5k on Saturday and biked 31 miles on Sunday. I burned lots of calories the last 2 days as well. What the hell???? Any ideas?

If you did streneous activities the last couple of days, your muscles are probably retaining water to help repair. Weigh yourself again in 2 days or so.

Thanks. That's a good post. It's just a bummer to work so hard and see no change!

Weigh again tomorrow? You might be retaining water, bloated... etc.

There are many reasons why you could be stalled out. Don't stress too much. Either weigh tomorrow OR wait and see what happens next week.

    1) Eat more.

    2) Weight loss is not linear.

Eat more. If you want to train and look like an athlete, you have to eat line one. Running 5K's and only 1200 will only hurt yourself and your progress. Active women should be around 1700-2000 calories a day.

Watch the sodium could be water retention from Subway, cottage cheese, etc. Drink more water.

inflammation from sore muscles and over working your body in general.

take it easy for a couple days let your muscles heal up, then get back into it.

    could also be muscle mass.

Thanks, i didn't think about sodium. I've been drinking like crazy. I'm just going to rest tonight and go to bed early. I'll start over in the a.m.
