Walking with your son and/or on lunch breaks
Calisthenics in front of the tv - situps, pushuips, leg lifts, etc etc etc
Dancing
Workout videos (check Youtube for freebies)
Dumbells
Gardening
I have been exercising regularly for years and haven't had a gym membership in probably 15 years, just easier for me to fit it in around my schedule this way, and I feel like a gym would be a waste of money for me, definitely not needed to burn calories or improve fitness. Good luck and try not to stress too much!0 -
There are alot of wokout on youtube every one is doing jillian michaels and there is a channel called BeFit they have alot of workouts on there so i would recommend jillian and denise austin she has some good cardio workouts0

Do you have "on demand" on your TV? If so, there are a ton of exercise videos on there in every flavor you can imagine.0

Does your office have stairs you could climb?
At home, I'd suggest squats, planks, lunges, pushups, etc. that all rely on body weight for resistance to build strength.0 -
Sometimes I turn on music and just dance and move around my house, especially when I have my godsons with me and they have a lot of extra energy and want to "play along."
I also like Leslie Sansone's "Walk Away the Pounds" videos (available for good prices at Walmart and Target).0 -
youtube has some great fitness links for free.....there are full links to tae bo videos which have been great for at home workouts....
I'm currently doing the Insanity program at home - I'd recommend getting yourself acquainted to more rigorous workouts and making a schedule for yourself and then hit the Insanity program for more results
Do you have space to skip rope? If anything, 20 minutes before work or after work would be awesome...build up your endurance and strength with some push-ups and squats and I'd say you have a great workout in 30 minutes!0 -
Here's a good routine you can do almost anywhere, too:

Here's a few different suggestions you may like!
Resistance bands. You can get a set that you attach to your door and do a variety workout with them (criss-cross, skiing, etc).
Rebounding. Rebounders (or mini-trampolines) are relatively cheap and there is a wide variety of workouts you can do on them... plus it's great cardio!
And for a low-intensity day, yoga and pilates. As long as you don't choose "yoga for relaxation" (which is still really nice, by the way!) and one that gets you into difficult positions or gets you sweating, yoga and pilates are good workouts for off-days that will strengthen you for your higher-intensity days. You can find tons of yoga and pilates workouts on Youtube.
I hope these will help!0 -
I started off just doing calisthenics and jogging in place.
You don't need a gym or fancy machines to get in shape!0
