Soup and Weigt Gain/Bloating

Hi,

I have probably a really stupid question, but I was home sick yesterday and had some eggdrop soup and a little hot and sour soup. I woke up this morning and weighed 3 lbs more than I do any other morning and feel so bloated. Is it possible it was all the sodium in the soup/water weight? I realize these are vanity lbs (usually weight around 119 and this morning was 122), but it is really annoying nonetheless. I did cardio yesterday and didnt eat more than about 1400 calories. Any ideas?

Thanks so much!
Lauren

Most likely water retention, don't sweat it unless you ate a few gallons of soup

Chinese take out is a huge sodium bomb! Lots of water will flush it back out!

Drink more water today to flush the sodium out.

Those are high sodium soups, so I'd assume water retention as a result may be what happened. Drink plenty of water and you'll flush that out in no time.
