Yeah - it has nothing to do with the fact that they are also on a calorie restrictive low carb diet. Why not log food here - its free.0

Im finding it very diffilcult to stay motivated and consistent. Sometimes I just feel lost.0 -
I'm seeing a lot of MD's offering this "Medically Supervised Weight Loss" program out of their office. People flock to it because they assume it must be better because a "doctor" is offering it. Truth is, the docs have little if anything to do with it. They usually hire staff to run the clinic.
They just buy into the weight loss gig because they can bill insurance for it and it's a great way for them to make some side money. It's just a low calorie type "meal plan" with some "B-vitamin" and sometimes "HCG" injections which makes the "patient" feel like they are getting some sort of special "medical weight loss" treatment.
Honestly, it's no different than going on any other calorie restricted diet with exercise and vitamin supplements.0 -

My advice would be to work on this motivation, not to resort to some crazy injection diet mess that's going to cost you a fortune and may put your health at risk.
Try to figure out why you're losing motivation and what is going wrong. Don't dodge the problem. Fix it.0 -
It looks like a knock off of the Dr. Bernstein method. Ridiculously low calorie restraints and from what I had read a while ago it seems that it is completely unsustainable and inevitable all of the weight and more is gained back for a large majority of the participants.

My mother, trained biologist, self-injected vitamins as a pick-up and not for weight loss. Aside from getting a severe talking from me, she also slightly overdosed leading to local necrosis and a nice hospital stay.
Injecting anything for weight loss is low on the list of things I would ever suggest.0 -

The reason you lose weight on this program is that is restricts calories - there is no reason to believe that you will stay motivated and be consistent with that either.0
