    I love fishing up in the mountains! I've never fished in the ocean though..it's on my to do list

    Yes sir.
    Freshwater:Black Bass(Largemouth), Crappie(white perch), Catfish. I want to go fly fishing for trout, but haven't been yet.
    Saltwater: Speckled trout, redfish

    I fish the Angelina River below Rayburn a few times per year. Love fishing for the little bass there out of my kayak. I live on Lake Conroe.
    I fish the Angelina, Sabine River, Toledo Bend, Dam-B(Angelina runs into it), and Rayburn. Saltwater fish down at Crystal Beach. We used to have a timeshare, and tried to fish once on Lake Conroe. Love that area, it is beautiful. My Brother lives in Crosby.

    No, I'm sure not everyone agrees on the same thing. I'm from the South and supposed to like Nascar, but I don't.

    The first fish I caught is my most memorable. It was a fairly good sized pike. It bit me and pooped all over me.

    I just don't like hurting/killing things. :\ But I like being outside by the water, in the quiet... it's lovely.

    That makes sense. I always catch and release, especially if I'm with my daughter because she has them and their whole fish family they left behind named before I even get the hook out.

    I used to fly fish a lot when I lived in Tennessee. I don't have the gear for saltwater fly fishing, and I miss it a lot.

    I mostly fished for trout.

    Me, me, me!!!! Saltwater, freshwater, from a boat, from the surf, from the riverbank, from the lakeside - everywhere! Trout, bass, pickerel, hornpout, crappies - flounder, stripers, mackerel, cod, even dogfish! It's fun and exciting - or it's quiet and relaxing.

    Nothing better than being the only one by the lake, just as the sun's coming up.. Watching the herons fly overhead and the snappers wake up from the bottom, making a bubble the size of a manhole cover in the water. Peace and quiet...

    Until those dang people come in with their zillion kids and their boombox, that is.

    I love to fish! Large mouth bass mostly, we have a pond on the farm here. I fly fish too.

    I LOVE to fish. I've been doing it since I was a very small child when my dad would take me every Sunday. Oh the memories we made! I still fish for bluegill, crappie and bass and fish for whatever when we go camping about 6/8 weeks per summer. My son is going to teach me how to muskie fish too. I'm not going to touch it and he can toss it back, but I think it'll be fun!

    Im from NZ so its pretty much salt water or no water :P

    My partner and I prefer softbaiting, its more active and your constantly moving. plus your bait isnt alive or bleeding :laugh: We fish for snapper mainly, caught a couple of sand sharks recently and a few cod but mainly we only hold onto the snapper. The only fish worth eating :tongue:

    Fishing is boring if you're not catching anything. If you get into fish who are spawning and you catch one after another, you'd never be bored. Do you think it's boring because you see people fishing who just sit there? Maybe they are catfishing.. that IS boring! I refuse to sit and wait for fish. If I'm not catching any, I'm gone.. and I fish a lot!
