Hi guys,
Being thoroughly fed up paying lots of money to use WW crappy website and clunky program I went to Livestrong's The Daily Plate. That site is still a waste of money in my opinion due to nonintuitive layout and buggy mobile app. I decided to give MFP a try three days ago and I'm really happy with it!
I look forward to getting to know you all and would love to make some friends. Starting at 254 lbs and goal weight is 115 lbs...long road ahead!

I started with 154 lbs. to lose and I have lost my wt. in 14 mos. I have not lost sight of my ultimate goal of 150 lbs. This site is so helpful in logging your foods and seeing how many calories, etc. are in my food choices. You will be amazed sometimes. Losing wt. is so much easier when you have a group of friends to support and motivate you. I am on here every day and have an open diary. Please feel free to add me.0

Same here bro, though I used Daily Plate for quite a while and got very frustrated with their apps....MFP has been a dream since day one!0 -
Agreed. I'm on my last week of WW online and don't plan on renewing. Finally committed to tracking on MFP and I love it!0

I switched from LiveStrong too. I love the FitBit integration with MFP. My steps, and weight are automatically synced!0

I had originally come here hoping to transition from WW to MFP to save $18 I pay for the Online tracker. I have found that I still love the WW program itself so I plan on sticking with it.
That said, I like the MFP message boards much better - there's a much more positive vibe here. The WW message boards are just chalked full of folks who want to lose the weight but won't get on the program, and then whine about it when it doesn't work. It gets really old after awhile.
There's many more people here that are committed to putting in the effort that's needed. Regardless of what plan you choose, that's really the bottom line to success - commitment and staying on schedule.0
