I am a 62 year old woman, doesn't like to excersize, has MS so is limited. I was recently told I have diabetes so I am trying to get a more healthy life style. I think it will be harder to get the exercise in than working on the diet. One problem I have is my husband immediately eats any left overs so we eat out 7 suppers a week. So lunch is on me. Oh I guess I should confess that with my MS I do have a strange sleeping pattern. I wake up around 11:30 AM. So lunch time is my breakfast.. I eat a small snack mid afternoon and try in my limited knowledge a balanced supper. I have a snack at bedtime consiting of carrots and dip. I was adding raisins and pretzels but I am finding out that is to many carbs in my day. So I neeed help. I will tart diabtic classes when a spot opens up. I start doing glucose meter checks in the mornihg. I take Metformin twice a day. OK, that's me.
