I NEED TO FIND AN ACCURATE SCALE...

I have been on the hunt for an accurate scale.. I purchased a HealthOMeter to only get it home and weigh hand weights to realize it was not accurate, it would give dif readings, sometimes as much as .5- 1.5 lbs.. Ive gone to the store and tried almost every scale they have using this method, using hand weights to see if the readings are accurate.. I have yet to find one that works. I do not want a 'fancy' one, IE- tells me my BMI and all the other stuff. I just need a true, accurate digital scale... Can someone please tell me what they use.. Im desperate!!!
Thanks in advance!!!

I dont know if my scAle is accurate either but Im too scared to look else where in case I weigh more than what my scale says lol

Digital scales are nice. Bbut I heard that the scales that spin with the needle are much more accurate.

I can't confirm whether my scale is 100% accurate (I doubt that any home use scales are!) but I guess an incorrect scale will still show the correct loss week to week. I think that makes sense..?

Although I realise that is no help in determining your correct weight.
  • Testing the ones out of boxes at stores isn't the best test for a scale. Those things get used so often, jumped on, kicked around, etc. Most scales are off a bit.

Are you using it on a hard, level surface? Not on carpet or an uneven floor? Where the scale is placed affects how it reads. If you just want a basic scale use whatever one you have. As long as you are weighing in on the same day, same time, under the same circumstances the scale will be accurate to your weight loss.
