I am at school today and I forgot my lunch... I need to be here for a long time because I have a paper due, and I don't have a car right now so I cant exactly run home and get it. Do I bank on vending machines or try to order in something and order healthy- like steamed Chinese veggies???

IF you can order than that would be great! If not, the peanut butter crackers are always a good choice. Maybe the vending has fruit, if so add that too. It is so hard when you are limited, but just try to make a healthy choice. Good luck with you paper!

Does your school have a cafe? Mine had a soup and salad bar, if your careful about what you put on it you'll be safe. They would also make any sandwich into a wrap. Definitely stay away from the vending machines though, hardly anything healthy, too many temptations and you'd be hungry again in a couple hours anyway.

Ordering chinese could be a great idea. My favorite chinese restaurant has a "lighter fare" menu where everyhting is steamed, no msg, and sauce is on the side. Steamed chicken and veggies with a tiny bit of sauce = YUM and filling!

unfortunately, the law school does not have a cafe. It has several vending machines that are typical machines, and then a vending machine that has a few salads, some sandwiches, muffins, soup and sometimes fruit and yogurt. I haven't scoped it out today. I brought an apple with me and ate that already, so after class I'll check my vending options, but usually the sandwhiches are really unhealthy. All mayonaise filled YUCK so Chinese may be my best bet.
