iPod Nano - Accuracy

I'm using my iPod nano to track my steps today; however, I'm wondering if I should cut everything it says in half to not overestimate. Any thoughts?

I think it's accurate. I use mine too but honestly the level of accuracy has never crossed my mind. I know I went on an hour walk once (about 3mph) and it was completely accurate for it, for calorie burn, and the number of steps (I wore my HRM too at the time, and they were insanely close in calorie burn).0

I find mine really accurate, I run along a prom which is 1.1miles long and the nano is usually spot on with most distances.0
