hi, one of the things that sometimes is recommended is curing calories. one day you may eat less and one day more, but it averages out to the correct amount of a weekly basis. so maybe spread out the "rest" of today's calories over the next 2 days.

I have that problem sometimes too. I try so hard to stay "under" that I can't hit my minimum. I think if it's not a regular thing, then no big deal. I also caught myself shoving down just about anything to meet my calories (which is stupid in my opinion, but I did it anyway). I asked my doctor and he suggested adding more protein during the day, to try low-fat yogurt instead of fat-free (to add a few calories), He said if I can't eat more protein, I should try eggwhite protein powder. It's not bad, but I kind-of figured out how to avoid having to drink it now. I still have my days though. Friend me if you'd like. I think all of us could always use a little more support.

Why not eat a bit less "low calorie" during the day?

To get in some more healthy calories you could have some cheese. It' s quite high calorie and very tasty, with protein too.
Or toast with whatever you fancy - cheese, jam (jelly if you're in the US), peanut butter.

Have a treat - you can afford it, calorie-wise.

I've been eating 2% Greek yogurt (chobani) instead of a low fat yogurt and I try to have 1/2 an avocado with Srirachi everyday. Both of these items are good at boosting my calorie intake. I seem to have the same problem as you. I like to eat healthy, so it is difficult to get my calories in and I'm only at 1300.

HI there! some days my calorie count is way down also. I try not to stress about it but try to plan my daily meals at least a day in advanced to that i can try to consume all my calories. I never do because MFP always add the exercise back in LOL. I try to eat the extra exercise calories but feel like i'd be eating just o eat. If I burn 800 calories exercising I really dont want to eat it all back.

Its all about finding what works best for you. I'd love to give you encouragement add me as a friend if you like ITTYbitty04

Choose to eat 1600-1800 daily and workout 3x a week.
Do this for 2 months or through the holidays.
I bet youll lose weight faster than the ups and downs I see on your diary.

Peanut butter! a tablespoon full is about 150 calories. Or a protein shake. I used to net under 1200 (actually not even net, just eat under 1200) often, it was a bit of a habit and I hit a really long plateau until I upped my calories.

avocado on toast with tomato and maybe cheese grilled - two pieces of that could net a good 400+ cals and its healthy.

hummous with toasted pita bread or turkish bread.

crackers with your choice of topping.

couple of pieces of dark chocolate.

    fruit smoothie.

lol i keep thinking nuts because I eat wanuts and brazil nuts every day.

    dried apricots (bit sugary tho)

    ummm..... lol.
  • definitely: greek yogurt is da bomb!
