Calling all swimmers!

I'm a 32 year old kiwi who has taken up ocean swimming after having a break from swimming for a few years. I also have Scoliosis, a curvature of the spine for which I've had two major surgeries, I now have 4 rods in my back and countless screws. So I'm titanium enhanced.
Weight is a struggle for me as I am an emotional eater. I eat when I'm lonely, bored, tired, sad, whatever, and generally with little awareness that I've impulsively gone to the cupboards out of habit.
I'm going to set little challenges for myself with the overall aim to break bad habits that I've gotten into.
