Read labels...and if the print is too small, use the barcode scanner feature on MFP (I have the app on my phone and am finding that very helpful).
If you get sugar cravings, drink at least 16 oz of water. If that doesn't take care of it, take some Omega 3/fish oil. Sugar is in just about EVERYTHING commercially prepared. I'm finding that steaming veggies and grilling or broiling lean meats is the easiest way to go for me. Any seasoning that does not have salt or sugar in it (think Mrs. Dash or Italian Seasoning from the spice aisle) will be your friend.
