EASTER Fitness Challenge Check-In March 10th

Hope everyone is having a good morning. I have a really sore throat so I am going to head back to bed since my boys aren't up yet. I need to get rid of this before it gets any worse! Uugh! Keep up the GREAT work with your goals! You all are doing a FABULOUS job!
Yesterday I rode my bike for 30 min at a moderate pace, cleaned for over 3 hours, and I did a 20 min arm workout while watching Oprah's Big Give last night. I also drank my waters, took my vitamins & meds, and I journaled my food. I leave for Vegas in a few more days so I have lots to do between now and then. Hope I feel better this afternoon!

Morning ladies!
Niccole, you will have to do a lot of Vegas-ing to make up for all your good behavior. Hope you feel better soon.
Today I'm going to do a dance video and a core secrets dvd called "ab assault" I found (still wrapped) in my collection. So, maybe say a prayer for my gut. (I heard a girl call them her "flabdominals" once. love that)
I'm trying to break out of my comfort zone at the gym, and try a new class tomorrow called "bosu", which is done on sort of a half balance ball. I think my body is too comfortable just doing spinning all the time, as I've just read some stuff that says your body burns less calories the more used to an exercise it is. Hold me accountable ladies, as I might chicken out of a new experience.

I see a lot of MFP members talk about taking their vitamins and meds. What exactly are ya'll taking? I've wondered if i need to be adding vitamins to my diet, but am VERY new to this. Thanks for any help you give me!!!

Personally I take Centrum . On top of that I take extra Vitamin D and Calcium to ward off osteoporsis. That about does it for me. I'm sure everyone has their own favorite. Nice to talk to you.0

I see a lot of MFP members talk about taking their vitamins and meds. What exactly are ya'll taking? I've wondered if i need to be adding vitamins to my diet, but am VERY new to this. Thanks for any help you give me!!!

Hi Pam. I just take Women's One a Day vitamins. We are trying to have another baby so I need to be sure I'm getting my folic acid in. That's the main reason I'm taking them. I am also on blood pressure medicine. I mention that I've taken my 'vitamins & meds' because I have a chart that I keep track of things I need to do and that's one of the things I forget without my reminder. Anyway...

Yesterday I did 60 min elliptical and a 40 minute uphill walk - for a total of 950+ calories burned - then ate 700 at the chocolate fest. I felt a little ill. I should have stuck to chocolate, but they were having the cookie contest at the time, so I tried the different cookies. Way too much sugar. It's amazing how sweet things have become.
Today is yoga and weights. I missed weights yesterday, so I get a demerit on my calendar.0 -
Bit of a bad day today we had severe weather last nite 120kph winds and I was woken at 2.30am and couldn't get back to sleep because of the noise we even had to weigh down the trampoline at 3am because it looked like it was about to take of glad we did though because when `i walked the dogs this morning there was one in the field that had done just that and it was all mashed up and ruined.
Anyhow managed to sleepily do my core strength training at 6am and went for a walk for the usual hour and just got back from collecting my son from school so clocked up another 30 mins walking.
Really tired though can't seem to shake it off I may give a few more days and if I still feel this tired I may make an app to see my doctor.
Elliptical 2morrow going up it to 40 mins again (I decreased my time because I increased the intensity)
Any tips on how to get a bit more energy feel free to share it would be much appreciated.

When I give my son a children's chewable in the morning, I take one too! I have a women's one a day also, but am better at taking his! :laugh:0 -
Hi All!
Got in a great workout yesterday, spurred on by the fact that I was creeping up on the calories.
A 60-minute power yoga podcast in my hotel room that had me sweating!
Then
35 minutes on the elliptical plus a really tough 25 minutes of stability ball work, that I looked up on Shape.com's site. I also walked back and forth to the gym.
Feeling GREAT today! I might take the day off except for a lunch-time walk, since I've gotten in seven days in a row.0 -
Hi everyone! I missed out on my morning DVD as I had an early appointment for Kindgergarten registration. Headed down now to ride my bike. Took the weekend off from exercise and finally saw another pound loss on the scale so it's all good:drinker:0

This is a late check in. I managed to get 45 minutes of Taebo in this morning before I had to meet up with my dad. I think I did okay on eating too but I didn't have time to log the food. I am going to TRY to do another 45 minutes of Taebo cardio before my dad comes over from the hotel in the morning. I hope I can get it in! Have a great night!0 -
Sorry I took yesterday off. Literally, didn't count calories or exercise. Felt good to splurge like that and has somehow re-energized me. Only 1lb gain from bloating today, while frustrating, I know it's only temporary. :grumble: Kept my brownie indulgence within my calories and am bagging up the rest to take to school in the morning!
