Add 1/2 cup of any frozen fruit, low fat yogurt, small amount of juice and ice in a blender and blend away..
I love mangos, strawberrys and peaches with strawberry yogurt. no sweeteners needed because they are already sweet..0 -
This is the one I always make.
whole banana
handful of spinach
celery stalk
handful of baby carrots (they taste sweeter than a whole carrot to me)
handful frozen berries
plain greek yogurt (about 1/4 cup)
I used to add pb, but don't really like it any more.
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
protein powder
Very filling and lots of fiber and yes, it tastes good. To me, at least.0 -
1 x cup of Unsweetened almond milk
half a cup of frozen wild blueberries
1 scoop of 4EverFit Fruit Blast Whey protein (cranberry-raspberry)
Mix all (I add a banana sometimes but you will add more calories)
170 cal
12g carbs
3g fat
24g protein
4g fiber
6g sugar0 -
My favorite one, that I make almost every morning for breakfast, is this one:
3/4 or 1 cup of Almond milk
One container of vanilla Greek yogurt
frozen strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries
It's about 350 calories and tastes great!0 -
Frozen strawberries and fresca...Very low calorie, easy, and yummy!0
-
1/2 frozen banana
1/4 cup canned pumpkin (also frozen)
1 cup skim milk
1/2 tsp brown sugar
1/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice
plenty of vitamin A, and not too many calories (it's my fall breakfast regular)0 -
1/2 cup frozen strawberries - 50 calories
1 individual lo-fat strawberry yogurt (Wal-Mart has one that is 80 calories)
1 cup unsweetened almond milk - 30 calories
Sweetener of your choice (I like the Wal Mart stevia) - 0 calories
ice
(I also use Jillian Michaels Whey Protein powder sometimes - 100 calories a scoop)

One banana, 2 tablespoons bran, half cup frozen berries, 1 cup lite cranberry juice - about 270 calories, but very filling so great as an entire breakfast. Makes quite a big smoothie too, so you could half it for half the calories :-)0

My favourite one to make is super simple...
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1 tbsp low fat greek yoghurt
a handful of fresh blueberries
Blend with water and ice and it's delicious!0 -
I make this every morning:
1 ripe banana (100 cals)
1/4 cup Sambazon Acai juice (Costco) (35 cals) This is one of the super foods - high in antioxidants
1 cup baby spinach (5-10 cals) I get the organic baby spinach at Costco
1/2 cup Kirkland brand (Costco) Frozen berries (70 cals)
I add about 1/2 cup water to make it thin enough to drink through a straw.
I use the mixture of blackberries, raspberries, and blueberries but I also use frozen strawberries or blueberries or mangoes. No need for ice with frozen fruit. The total caloric count is 215 but the nutritional count is awesome. I go for easy...I cut up bananas when they are getting too ripe to eat and freeze them to use for my smoothies - just like popping ice cubes in the blender. Kale is also a good green substitute for spinach. Some people think spinach gives them gas so kale is a good alternative. I also add a TB or raw cocau or flax seed for higher nutritional count. Takes me all of 3 mins to throw everything in a blender. You can also substitute any meaty food for the banana - peach, apple, avocado. Will change the caloric count, of course, but, again, it's more healthy than store bought smoothie mixes, etc. Hope this gets you started!0 -
These all sound so good! I want to try them all0
