New to MFP

Hi All. I started using MFP a week ago Tuesday. I was informed by my doctor that my liver is showing signs of fatty build up and that this is typical for people that are over weight. I'm 5-9" and weigh 217 now (I've lost 7 lbs since I started to change my diet). I have never really dieted as up until a few years ago I never needed to. I'm limited on how I can exercise but have started going to physical therapy to help build my knee up so that I can begin walking. I am finding that using MFP helps me with my calorie intake but I am finding that I'm almost always over in protein and cholesterol - is this something I should be concerned with? My other problem is breakfast...what is "okay" to eat and has anyone found a place where there are good low calorie recopies? ~Thanks!
