Hello

I've been using MFP for a while, but have recently started again on 1 November, with a low calorie/low carb diet, trying to get into ketosis. I wanted to try the Cambridge Diet (VLCD based on shakes) but my GP said no, and I was recommended to just dropping my calories and basically eating less food so I am always hungry! My GP said that will have the same effect as the Cambridge plan, but wont cost me any money.

I was disappointed at first that she said no but I have taken to the net to read up on VLCD so am giving it a try.

I'm into day two and I feel great, not that hungry as I've been eating simple real and healthy food.

I am looking to cut my carb intake which is something I have never been able to do, but have managed to cut most carbs out of every meal except breakfast, where I have oatmeal, banana and walnuts. I am looking for some low carb ideas for breakfast if anyone has any to share?

I've lost 5lbs in two days so happy with that :)
