1lb of fat = 1lb of muscle

I see this all the time on here and then there is a huge debate on how they are not actually equal...I think this explains it pretty well. 1lb = 1lb in weight.....but the SPACE it takes it up on your body is different. What do you think?

    This. It just puts emphasis on what you body is composed of, not necessarily a number on a scale.

    yep, A pound is a pound but a pound of lead takes up less space than a pound of feathers. Its all about density.

    Yes I realized this last year when I reached 140lbs (the weight I was when I got married) and tried on my wedding dress, then realized it was much too big. :)
