Goals for 2013

It’s that time of the year where I hunker down and begin thinking about the goals for the upcoming year. You have to dream otherwise all you do is merely exist. The first step in achieving your goals is to write them down. Below is my preliminary list:

1. Participate in 10 marathons or half marathons.
2. Read 10 books
3. Find a job that's a blast!
4. Visit my brother and sister in Texas and go to Mexico.
5. Pay off my car.
6. Still looking for that special someone.
7. Maintain my weight of 180.

I’m still trying to finalize the list. Any suggestions? What are you goals for 2013?

    1. Get to between 8-12% BF.
    2. Compete in y first triathlon.
    3. Finalize divorce.

    1. Complete my weight loss goal.
    2. Get abs, take pictures, then regain a bit of weight.
    3. Run in my first 5k.
    4. Finally take a decent vacation.
    5. Devote more time to woodworking.

    1. get under 200 pounds (which will be about 80 pounds from today)
    2. open a savings acct. and put money in every check
    3. track every day (I have an android so there are no excuses)

    4. I think i'm an awesome fiance and mother, but I want to be an even better one!

    I haven't been to a doctor in two years. Perhaps it's time I go:noway:

    1. Find a job.
    2. Reach my weight loss goal (and maintain it).
    3. Actually finish my book manuscript and try to find a publisher.
    4. Maybe take up some new hobbies like photography.
    5. Actually complete a 5k without stopping because of asthma or pain. :bigsmile:
    6. Find someone who loves me for me.

    My Goals are pretty simple this next year.

    1. Don't let myself "lose motivation" after having the baby.
    2. Start, and complete, a c25k program.
    3. Strength Train 3 times a week.
    4. By the end of the year, be able to completely 3 chin ups.
    5. By the end of the year, be able to completely 3 miles in less than 30 minutes.

    Get into my program.

    This year I've actually completed 5 runs including a 10k and a half marathon. I'm in pretty good shape now and all I have to do is find 10 marathons/half marathons to run in for next year. I'm thinking of doing one in Monterrey, Mexico. I have a cousin who lives there. I've also read 5 books this year and am on my 6th. I also found a neat job this year but it's temporary and will end in February.

    1) Get down to single digit body fat percentage
    2) Bench 1.5x my body weight, squat 2x my body weight and deadlift 2.5x my body weight
    3) Run the Sydney 'City to Surf' race (14km) in a competitive time.
    4) Visit The Netherlands
    5) Finish the year in a management position
    6) Be able to jump and grab onto a full height basketball ring again
  • 1) Run in the "5K Run for Your Lives obstacle course" in March.

    2) Learn to not sweat the small stuff.

    3) Be a more patient mother and wife.

    4) Reach my goal weight.

    1) Finish in the top 50% of my ALL my races.
    2) Finish top 25% in some races (stretch goal)
    3) Have legs like this with an engine to match-

    1. 650lb Deadlift.
    2. Reach 12% Bodyfat
    3. Move permenantly to Norway.
    4. Begin work on my first novel, which has been in draft for 3 or 4 years.
    5. See the Aurora Borealis first hand :)

    1. get to my goal weight.
    2. photoshoot after i hit my goal weight.
    3. ABS.
    4. be able to life 150lbs.. im at 68lbs now.
    5. Be back in Cosmotology school (waiting list,they said if not in january,then the summer.. so,we'll see.)

    Some of my goals for 2013:

    1) Read 2 books a week
    2) Do one kind task a day for someone I do not know.
    3) Finish my next degree.

    There is more, but this is the start.

    - I want to reach my initial goal weight (I think it's reasonable in that time period)
    - finish my C25K (I'm taking more than a week for each 'week')
    - do a 5K, running the whole way (I'm aiming for the October Run for the Cure)
    - work on improving body composition so that I'm not just 'skinny fat'

    I like the idea of helping others. I will add that to my list:
    Do at least one good deed by working with an organization such as Habit for Humanity.

  • 1. Reach and maintain my goal weight
    2. Get down to at least 20% BF
    3. Keep up my exercise regime
    4. Start and complete C25K
    5. Do either the Moon Walk or Maggie's Walk (charity night walk marathons)
    6. MAYBE start lifting heavier - just need to pluck up the courage to talk to the people at the gym!

    Look good in a bathing suit (note *good* not swimsuit model)
    Have a better job

    1) lose 8lbs/4kgs of body fat
    2) gain 4.2lbs/2.6kgs of muscle
    3) lift heavy
    4) eat clean
    5) become awesome at my new job that I start in Feb 2013
    6) drop more body fat if needed (to see my abs)

    1.) Maintain my fat-loss for another year!
    2.) Add 10-15 lbs of lean mass
    3.) Run a few 10k's and a Half Marathon
    4.) Set a good example for my kids, and stay healthy for them!

    3) Bike from Alexandria, Virginia to Pennsylvania
    3) Finish off a few more classes
    4) Be more supportive for my fiance
    5) Some sort of career devolpment whether it be promotion or better job

    Mine are simple as well.

    1. Find a full time job where they dont degrade me.
    2. Get a new phone...I hate this one...ready to throw if under a train! Cant afford a 600.00 phone and cant afford losing unlimited to get a 200.00 dollar phone.
    3. Get out of debt. We have 4,300 in debt and if we get this apt....we need another loan to move which puts us 6k in debt.hoping income tax return is large so I can get my car legally on the road and pay off one bank loan!
    4. If we dont get to move this year, have to by next.this apt is a fire hazard and landlord wont fix what needs to be.
    5. Be 130 lbs in march by my 21st by the end of march so i can wear a sexy outfit to the casino.
    6. Want to take the 9 hr trip to nashville and try selling my songs....everyone says theyre good...even my husband who isnt shy to tell me i sing like a cow being butchered, lol.
