LAMB JALFREZI
SERVES 4 - 175 Calories per serving (not including the rice) and only 2.8% Fat
Ingredients
•1 red onion, diced
•2 garlic cloves, crushed
•300g lean diced lamb
•salt and black pepper
•2cm piece fresh ginger, peeled and finely chopped
•2 tsps garam masala
•1 tbsp medium curry powder
•1 green pepper, diced
•1 small chilli, chopped
•1 lamb stock cube
•1 x 400g can chopped tomatoes
•fresh coriander, to garnish
Cooking Instructions
1.Preheat a non-stick pan. Dry-fry 1 diced red onion and 2 crushed garlic cloves until the onion is lightly browned.
2.Add 300g lean diced lamb and cook until sealed seasoning with salt and black pepper.
3.Add 2cm piece fresh ginger (peeled and finely chopped), 2 tsps garam masala, 1 tbsp medium curry powder, 1 diced green pepper and 1 chopped small chilli and cook mixing well before adding a lamb stock cube and 400g can chopped tomatoes.
4.Cover and simmer for 30-35 minutes until the lamb is tender and the sauce reduced.
5.Serve with rice garnished with fresh coriander.

This sounds very yummy though I have never heard of Jalfrezi made with those ingredients before. Are you sure you're not thinking of some Lamb curry? Maybe Dum gosht or something0
