I was totally surprised this morning. I measured my waist and I had gained an inch but soon found out why. I have only lost 20 pounds and at 205 but when I was doing my exercises I noticed by abdomen was tighter. Soooo, I let my stomach relax and put my hand on it and contracted the muscles. Underneath the layer of fat was actually tight muscles, from the middle and upper all the way to my lower abs. So that is probably what caused the inch gain in my waist. I am doing Zumba for cardio as well as doing flat abs and tone and sculpt and I guess it is really starting to pay off. Just wanted to share my little success with all my MFP friends.
