What do you do when you get cravings?

With all this halloween candy around the house, i've been craving them like crazy! I've been fairly good at not eating it, but its very difficult. What do you do when you get cravings?

I feed all the stuff I'd actually eat to my kids, then it's gone.

actually, i think its ok to have one piece of candy. if u deprive urself of the "good stuff" for too long it can b pretty bad when u finally give in. if u tell urself "i will have this one " n savor it, it will satisfy ur cravings n u will stop thinkg about it. just my humble opinion... :)

I plan out what I'm eating at least a day in advance, so I tend to have the mindset that anything else is off limits. If I really crave it, then I might substitute some it with one of my snacks----provided I still hit my macronutrient/calorie goal. If it's really bad, I'll give it away or, if I have to, throw it away.

Strangely enough, there's a cappuccino mix (100 calories for 1 1/2 cup) that wards off my cravings for about four hours. If I hide the problem food where I can't see it, drink some of that, I'm usually fine.
