Ovarian cysts and working out?

So,I have an ovarian cyst. It's quite big (6cm). After having a sonography and 2 workouts,my cyst hurts.
My question is: Should a woman work out when she has ovarian cysts? Or,are there risks?
PS: Excuse me for my English but I am not a natural speaker.

I would go back to your Doctor and ask them firstly if you can work out, and if so what exercises would be best. From what I've read, exercising could cause complications, so don't do anything without your Doctors say so.0

I am being treated for the same thing. I nearly avoided surgery. I was told bed rest 4-7 days to avoid painful rupture, and ovarian torsion, which basically means, losing blood flow to the ovary resulting in surgical removal. SO. the plan is,, rest for a week. No running, no walking, no lifting, no twisting, no vigorous stretches, . then 2-4 weeks of mild activity. First symptom of pain, start over in rest cycle. THIS SUCKS! :grumble:
good luck yo you! and your English is good!0 -
I continue to work out as my dr has told me that exercise actually helps.0
