First target acheived..what now?

So my target was 62kg and this morning I am 61.7kg..whoopee!! I am 5'6 so that is quite a good weight and i fitted into UK size 10 jeans yesterday for the first time in years.

Part of me wants to carry on down to 60kg. But I have started doing much more strength training (despite and injury to my shoulder atm which is hampering things somewhat) and i really want to add some muscle to my frame and get that leaner tighter look..This may not fit in well with a calorie deficit..

I am quite happy with my current 1540 calories plus exercise calories and am trying hard to increase my protein.

Thoughts please

Congrats on reaching your goal! 62kg is on the lower end of your healthy weight range, and you say youmfeel happy, so I wouldn't try to lose more.

from what I can see i am about in the middle of what I could be..
  • Your BMI is around 21.9. That's very good. Also, you look really good on those photos. Why on Earth would you want to go lower?
If I were you I'd focus on the strength training and get rid of the calorie deficit.

I'm going to steal a quote that Sarah_Wins has on her profile here: "Weight loss helps you look good in clothes. Weight lifting helps you look good naked." I know what I'd go for if I weren in your shoes. :)
