Any tips for talking to doc about weight loss (or lack thereof?) I've been here for at least 2 years (not the most dedicated) but still no change is weight. So i'm going to talk to my odc and see if i have any underlying issues before i go any further.

Be honest about your dietary and exercise habits.
'Haven't been the most dedicated' may be your problem.
I don't believe in obsessing about what you weigh or how much way you are going to loose/gain over what you eat at the moment. Like yesterday I took a 'break' because I didn't have an alternative but to eat something I couldn't track the calories in. I didn't however go hog wild. I knew I ate more than I normally would during a day I was tracking but I also knew that I was eating less than I would have back in September before I started actively trying to loose weight. I only gained 0.4 pounds. (I couldn't go to the pool because my back hurt after what I did that morning) No big deal.
However this was my 1st 'break' in a month. Today I'm back to logging and planning... and refraining from eating the homemade lemon ice cream that I know is stored in the freezer.
Even if you have underlying medical issues you need to work with, you will have to change the 'haven't been the most dedicated' to 'only taking a break every now and again' if you want to continue to loose weight.0 -

I'm lucky to have a good doctor who really listens to me. But doctors need to have information to be able to help you. Be honest. Maybe take her a printout of a week's worth of eating. (You can easily print that out from the reports section here at MFP.)0 -
I took a look at your diary, all the way back to late September. If the rest of the two years is like the month plus I looked at, it's no wonder you haven't lost any weight. In October, you only logged about five days, and a couple of those days look incomplete. There also seems to be a lot of fast food on the days you do log.
I'm guessing if you USE mfp the weight will fall off. It takes more than creating an account for it to work.
GOing to your doctor for a complete physical and making sure you are otherwise healthy is a good idea, but don't kid yourself, you haven't been using mfp.0 -
the dedication problem is mainly because of my almost broken knee back in march and the fact i think i broke a toe last month so exercise hasn't been the best
and i'm sorry to tell you that just because i don't log it on here doesn't mean i don't keep track. And yes, sometimes get fast food, but so do alot of other people. I make it fit with exercise if i can, again not logged on here.0
