Looking for friends who got Lap-Band or getting it

Hi my name is Kathy, Ive been on myfitnesspal for about a month now. just a few days before I got my Lap-Band. Im just looking to see if anyone else on here is going through the same thing. Would love to get there outlook on it as well maybe some words of wisdom. Im nice and i dont bite.

    I have a surgical consult scheduled for next week. I was able to lose 70 lbs last year but even following the same diet and exercise I've gained back almost half of it. I'd love to hear about how you prepared and how you're doing post surgery.

    How long did you spend preparing for the surgery? I can find info about recovery but less info about preparation.
