Looking for fantastic recipes from the Caribbean islands that manage to satisfy my appetite for my love of Trini food!

Blessed with Trini parents & living in London, I know what good Caribbean food taste like and that with a bit of tweaking it should be possible to eat what we know AND drop the pounds.

Post your recipies for all the world to experience with photos if possible..my mouth is watering already!

Feel free to add me as a friend as well!

Not a recipe but, If you're near Walthamstow my hubby has a trailer from where he sells his homemade Jamaican food; curry goat, oxtail, chicken curry, rice n peas, dumplings, salt fish, patties, fried wings etc etc.

We're just about to sit down for a dinner of curry goat, rice n peas, sweet potato, breadfruit, pumpkin, mmm

Sounds great, next Sun I'm coming to yours for dinner! :) We're having rice n peas, curry chicken with potatoes & butter beans, salad & brocolli!

I don't live too far from Walthamstow so the next time i down that way I'll check out his food, where abouts is it located?

    Ooh your dinner sounds delish!

It's in Walthamstow market and sometimes Wood Street market, look out for a black trailer called Dees Kitchen.
