Which plates to buy with standard bar?

I'm deadlifting 2x20 @ 98 (98.5) lbs now (bar included). If I get the 50s, starting weight with bar will be 118.5. Might that be too much of a jump?
Also, I can't find bumper plates for standard bars, do they even exist?
Wish I'd started with the 2" bar now
