GOING OUT THESE DAYS

The following is an article I wrote on my blog www.illustriousfitness.com.
Well…this is a very weird part of the process I didn’t even expect for some reason. The reaction. People tend to treat you different when they KNOW you went from fat to a lot smaller. It becomes the first topic of conversation. It’s actually a really good feeling. You’ve been putting in all this work and it shows. I’m not used to it yet. I’m not used to people calling me skinny. To be honest, I’m not skinny at all yet. I have about 33 pounds to go before I am considered a heathy weight for my height. I understand that when you go from as big as I was to what I am now that it’s a drastic change, prompting people to call me skinny. I understand. I do enjoy the confidence that I have now. I’ve always had confidence, but now I feel attractive in a way I have never felt. The last time I weighed this amount I was in college. I wasn’t the confident person I am now back in those days. It’s amazing because with every pound I lose, its like a new milestone. I haven’t weighed this much since…type of thing. It’s amazing. Overall the reaction I get is shocked and congratulations. It’s an amazing feeling, but I’m just not used to it yet. If you’re on your way to lose some serious weight, this is one of the benefits. Thanks for reading and again subscribe to my blog and if you have questions hit me up at illustriousfitness@gmail.com. Swag.
