Hi! I joined this site last week and love it! Weight has always been an issue for me since the women in my family have all been diagnosed with diabetes. It's my goal to never have to endure all the complications it can cause.
I would say /i have been slightly overweight most of my life. I weighed the most my junior year of high school and the pounds have gone away and come back since then. My doctor told me that, because of my bone and muscle structure, I don't fit into the BMI charts nicely and don't need to lose as much weight as it says I should. A good thing I think! I am trying to get down to my lowest college weight and have about 15 ponds to go. I think this site will help to keep me on track and really force me to think about what I am feeding my body.
