mechanically separated chicken

A local grocer has started retailing mechanically separated chicken. It seems to be moving off the shelf readily. I searched the internet for a recipe but only find posts bad mouthing the product. So I have heard all the criticisms.
But... Obviously people are using it at home. I cannot find any recipes specific for this product. Can anyone provide recipes or advice for cooking and using mechanically separated chicken that they have experienced ?

oh my goodness, could that look any less edible? I just read the wikipedia on it and given I dont eat hot dogs/ processed meat & meat i cant see in it its entirety this gets and almight HELL NO!
it looks like the bouncy foam stuff kids play with, which is awesome ands not gross at all0 -
If I look at it and imagine it's ice cream, it looks delicious.
Can't imagine why a butcher would sell it like that? From what I read, it's all used in processed meats and stuff.
I watched a program on how they make ham the other day and it's quite interesting!!
There's probably a lot of food processing that would make many people stop eating processed foods altogether. Hot dogs have been made like that for years...0
