Irregular bowel movements and fruit consumption?

Does consuming a lot of fruits a day effect bowel movements? Because my bowels are very loose since I started my own defined "intense diet". Plus, I've got some serious gas problems, which usually come around when I need to release some of the brown stuff. And every time the urge comes, it's pretty intense, but very little comes out, but man am I glad my butt isn't near a lighter at times! Burn the whole place down!
I work in a warehouse and I'm pretty active throughout the day. Running up(literally) 3 flights of stairs at least 8 to 12 times a day, and I always come home from work hungry as hell.
I eat 2 cups of Arrowhead Kamut flake cereal and a full sized plain bagel(So I can get a lot of carbs in the morning) for breakfast, before going into work(Around 4:30am). My morning snack(at 8:00am) consists of one orange and one carrot. For lunch(11:00am), a sandwich with 2 deli slices of meat/chicken/turkey, one slice of swiss cheese, some lettuce, and two tomato slices, and a two sides consisting of watermelon(Probably 2 to 2 1/2 cups) and about 8 to 10 slices of Cucumbers. For dinner(:3:30pm to 4:00pm), I have a large poached turkey breast(10 to 12oz) with 3 cups of broccoli and a large apple or a bowl of grapes, and I go to bed around 8:15pm.
Is this too much fruit? Or is there something else in my diet that could be causing these problems?
Thanks

Broccoli can cause gas ... that's about all I know from what you posted.
Just something personal I wouldn't eat fruit at night especially grapes lots of sugar.0 -
I looked at your diet and it looks normal - I eat that much fruit I think daily myself. There are two things that I'm thinking:
1.) What is your age? If you are over 30 or something then your may have developed a lactose intolerance. I used to be fine as a kid and younger man but I became lactose intolerant later in life. Try removing the cheese slice and milk (though you didn't list it there)
2. You are getting a quite a bit of fiber there which would explain the gas, until your body gets used to it, perhaps. Loose bowels...not sure.
I'm not a doctor (nor do I play one on TV) so I might be wrong about this. However, if this continues longer than a few weeks, perhaps you should see a doctor (a real one I mean)0 -
Ah yes, the broccoli as the above poster said- I missed that - yeah there's your gas probably. I'd go with less broccoli and substitute something less....gaseous?
There are over the counter meds for combating excess gas. "Beano" is I think the name.0
