I need some exercise advice

I injured my knee over the Summer & the MRI showed some other problems that I didn't even know about! I REALLY need to exercise but I don't know what to do. I have a bone marrow edema from the injury, a cyst, a spur, osteoarthritis AND I'm missing some cartilage. I'm only 38 years old, for sobbing out loud! My stationary bike doesn't hurt my leg & the doctor said I could do that but I don't think that's enough. Ideas???

Anything that takes the weight off your legs I'd imagine, so swimming, water aerobics, rower machine, weights, sit ups maybe?0

Get on that rower!! Rowing is a great all-body workout that will get your heart rate up. It's also incredibly low impact and wil not put strain on your knees. Swimming is also a good option.
Are you able to use a stationary bike or an elliptical trainer? These things seem pretty low impact to me but might be too much strain if you have a serious knee injury.0 -
I do have a stationary bike that I'm starting to use again. I'm not a swimmer so any water activities are out of the question for me. I never thought about a rowing machine! Excellent idea!0
