I'm Laurie, a few weeks shy of 46 and mom of 3. This is not my first time losing weight, I've struggled since having kids but did lose 65 pounds about 7 years ago...and gained it all back. Managed to maintain for almost 2 years before I started to steadily gain...most of the gain was in the last year, gained about 30 pounds.
I work out regularly, doing zumba and bikram yoga, a bit of running and hoping to start with some weight training again soon. I tore my rotator cuff almost 5 years ago and keep re-injuring myself when I think I'm healed. Not sure if I'll ever be able to do upper body weights again at this point!
I've been actively tracking since mid-September and have lost about 9 pounds so far. Another 50 or so to go!
