Suggestions for weight lifting at home?

I am looking for suggestions of how to do some weight training here in my home. I am an hour away from the closest gym so that is not an option. I do have free weights and P90x, which I have tried doing for strength training days (I use our treadmill for cardio) but p90x takes too long. I liked the results I was seeing but got bored; and also with 2 small kids in a small house, it can be challenging! I am wondering if there are any other good weight training DVD's out there or some sort of schedule online I could follow with free weights, push ups, etc. I get bored very easy so the more variety the better!

Have you tried 30 day shred? It's not strictly weights but I'm finding it really effective (and I used to sculpt - lifted really heavy!)0

No I haven't but I have read a lot about it on here. Thinking of trying that or Chalean Extreme. Also, I am kind of in the dark about heavy lifting vs not heavy?? I want to get toned and slim down...not bulk up0

Hi I lift heavy and skip hard and am seeing some great results, I do 1 bicep tricep weighted abs, 2 back and chest 3 thighs and calves 4 shoulders weighted abs usually about 30 min + of jump rope after every sesh, I also do the push pull tech, push one day push ups bench press squats dips tricep curl, then pull, next day pull ups bicep curl shoulders, I'm not an expert but have learned a lot over a year I still have treats n alcohol every now n then cheat meals etccand am in the best shape of my life, Any fellow lifters feel free to add0
