how to switch from weight loss mode to maintance?

I'm a far way off from being at my goal weight, but im already thinking about how do I make the switch from losing weight and a calorie deficite to being at maintaince.

as you can see from my profile picture, the left is me currently, the right was last year... i clearly couldnt maintain what i had achieved... mainly becuase i just got too relaxed and stopped working out!

so any tips from people who are maintaning and how they made the switch?

My plan, which isn't really based on science, I admit, is:
KEEP USING MFP, for a start.
Increase calories by 100 a day or so until I seem to be levelling off.
Monitor status over a few weeks to see how my body adapts to the new regime as it may well be it starts burning a bit more in comparison to 1000 under (or so I'm hoping, of course; though in reality as I'm rarely eating under 2k calories, may not be the case.)

I'm then going to go for a bit of a 'bulk' phase, so when I've got myself sorted out a bit, plan to go to +250 calories while maybe doing 5x5 program, as well as usual rock climbing etc.
  • You already have it figured out -- don't stop working out AND continue to log your food.. I'd probably jump on the scale at least once a week also (I weigh pretty much daily)... Just a little bit of effort goes a long way!

First of great figure well done!!

As said above 100kcal a day week one, 200kcal a day week 2 and so on until you weight is stable. Weigh yourself once a week at the same time in the same conditions and try to drink approx 2 litres of water per day.
