I have just completed my lunchtime walk, I covered 1.58 miles at an average 4.12 MPH and burned 168 Kcals.
Last week a similar walk with a colleague yielded the following, 1.62 miles at 2.38 MPH burning 299 Kcals.
Am I to believe that if I walk slower I burn more calories?

Both after eating, it has become a lunchtime ritual for me. I just find it hard to believe that I can walk a lot faster but the calories burned are less?0
