Food help please!

Hey folks!

What are some foods I can eat for high protein and low fat besides a lot of shakes and protein bars?
I want to try to eat over 100g of protein a day.

My go to's last week were salmon and skim milk.

I have a bunch of chicken breast in the oven right now, going to cut it into cubes and use it on salads and in wraps. I'll freeze part of it so it lasts all week.

yellow and green split pea soup with roasted chicken breasst gave me a real boost this week, I also snack on almonds. White bean chicken chili and of course hit the fish isle hard!
  • I also try to keep up my protein levels but minimise fat - there are a lot of meals that you can prepare that are based on white meats (chicken / turkey etc) and fish (salmon /white fish / prawns / mussels)

Different sauces add a lot of variety - tomato based, spicy , soup based etc , pureed veg makes a good sauce base - Avoiding roux type sauces or anything where fat is added

I like to pair it with lots of veggies - either salads (so many varieties / mixes available) or veggies mashed (carrot / turnip mash / peas mashed ) or lots of other raw or cooked veggies

If the meat is grilled & the fish poached (I use water / lemon with basil) there will be no added fat

You can get some inspiration if you google low fat recipes

Hope you find some dishes that you can add to your core meal range!
