I personally like this kind of music:

It is upbeat without words.I don't know words distract me and I always want to start singing along. :P Causing to get off focus and out of breath. I wanted to find out what do you like to run to? You can link a youtube video or just state a name :p Share it. Can't wait to see what your personal likes are. :]

80's hard rock/heavy metal (Kiss, Dio, NIN, etc) and more recent soundtracks. The music from the recent Dredd movie is pretty good.

When I'm trying to push my pace, I usually listen to something like Disturbed- music with a fast, aggressive feel.

When I'm not pushing my pace and I'm listening to music, it's usually something upbeat, but it can range from Jazz, to Ska, to Oldies.

I have found Fit Radio on my phone works well. There are all kinds of different types of music genres. Personally I listen to Trance which has 125 to 150 bpm.
