    Add it as calisthenics.

You can create your own workout for the database. When you search for it and nothing comes up scroll down and click on add to database (I think that's what it says), then you can name and create your own workout and even adjust the calories burned.

I'm not sure if you're asking how to create an exercise or if you are asking how to calculate the calories from an Insanity workout.

For me, I use this link

    http://www.everydayhealth.com/food-fitness/exercise-activity/calories-burned-conditioning-exercises

to find the workout I did that day. Then you put in your weight and how long you did that Insanity workout, and it calculates your burn.

That is not as accurate as using a Heart Rate Monitor, but it helps.

If you are asking how to create a workout, Moshebelle1 answered that.

I really think you need a HRM to be accurate with these numbers.

I would google calories burned insanity workout and find the site that says Livestrong they seem to be pretty accurate and it usually tells you about how many calories burned on average for an hrs time for most workouts. Otherwise if you have a HRM thing that prob is the most accurate.
